There is nothing in this world to make an outfit get an instant dose of glamour then a fantastic vintage coat and this 1960s one is spectacular. Maggy Reeves was a couture designer in Canada and her pieces are as rare as rare can be. It is is a delight and privilege to be able to pass on a piece like this as this coat is extraordinarily beautiful! It is constructed from a textured tangerine silk and is as minimal and perfect as you could wish for. No line is cut in excess - it closes with a simple hook under the bow and then the side of the bow that overlaps has a hidden snap to hold it in place. The sleeves are . The sleeves are cut to end just below the elbow and each has a separate finished hem. The back is slightly tented. In perfect, mint, unworn condition and is a superb example of high end workmanship and refined restraint combined with the power of a vivid color.

The coat closes with a hidden hook under the bow. A snap holds the bow in place. It is fully lined in a cream silk and appears to have never been worn. It is immaculate inside and out. The color is more vivid in person - really gorgeous!
