The EMERALDAS X, a standard model designed specifically for squid fishing, has been renewed with enhanced fundamental performance and operability!

The previous model, the 19EMERALDAS, was well-received as an introductory squid fishing reel with high basic performance, featuring the EMERALDAS design. In this new model, the rotor material has been upgraded from DS4 to ZAION V, achieving both weight reduction and increased rigidity. Additionally, the adoption of AIRDRIVE DESIGN has improved weight balance, reducing the sensation of heaviness. This reduction in weight during repeated jigging and retrieving enhances operability, allowing for precise control of the jig.

The EMERALDAS X also features an AIRDRIVE ROTOR with a spherical shape and an AIRDRIVE BAIL with an inclined setting, which help reduce line troubles.

For the drag, it uses the ATD TYPE-L, which improves initial response. With the main line for squid fishing being PE 0.6, the ATD TYPE-L ensures quick landings and prevents line breaks, providing reassurance during actual fishing.

The design incorporates the "EMERALDAS Green," which symbolizes the EMERALDAS brand, ensuring a good match with EMERALDAS rods and satisfying the sense of ownership.
